Peter Gonzales takes role as “Mel Kalagis” in The Black Messiah Murders

Chosen by Federico Fellini to play the famous director in Fellini’s Roma the impressionistic movie about Fellini’s vision of Rome. At the same time in Italy he starred in L’ Ospite for the celebrated and controversial director Liliana Cavani   Isela Vega cast Gonzales for her directing debut in Las Amantes del señor de la noche. After several other films Peter left  to engage in documentary productions and film education for disadvantaged and minority children. His long absence in front of the camera ended when he warmed back up to the silver screen in Gregory Nava’s Bordertown (2006) with  Jennifer Lopez, Antonio Banderas, Kate del Castillo, and Martin Sheen; however, the European release seemed to create more media and social response off-shore (e.g. German news) than in the U.S.

After high hopes of co-staring with Big Bird were dashed,  and Nataly attended the renowned BriteLights Studio,  she landed her first talent agency contract at the age of seven. Ms. Peña has worked constantly since then in featured roles in commercials, films, documentaries, and onstage as a singer and actress.  Her first feature film  “Living the Life,” based on the book Party Girl by acclaimed author Lynne Ewing and produced by Esther and Richard Shapiro, probably best-known for the television series “Dynasty.”   She has had the fortune to work with very well-known actors and directors.  Her most recent role was in a webisode as the girlfriend of actor Laurence Mason in his recurring role as Sammy in the popular TV series “Prison Break” filmed in Dallas.
